The Initiative Group functions as a shared service center and provides the three entities with back office services, such as centralised IT- and HR services, media administration and finance.
The services provided by the Initiative Group enables the three agencies to focus entirely on clients. Strategy, account management, research, planning & buying are handled individually by each agency. Central client negotiations are being done by Magna Global Netherlands.

Magna Global Netherlands was founded on January 1st, 2004 and is the first combined buying- and negotiation unit in the Netherlands. Magna Global Netherlands manages the interests of the IPG media agencies Initiative, BrandConnection, digilogue and Universal. Independent media agencies Mediaxplain and Media Balance are also part of Magna Global Netherlands.
